ENGINEERING ATHLETIC DISCOVERY

A New Approach to Hitting Development

We design baseball training methods and tools that help athletes learn, adapt, and perform.

THE APPROACH

Specific tasks.
Emerging movement.

We create training methods and tools that give athletes meaningful problems to solve. Instead of prescribing baseball swing mechanics, we explore what happens when the task or tool changes, and the athlete adapts.

Simple

We give athletes clear, specific tasks rather than overwhelming them with mechanical instructions.

Athletic

We observe how each athlete's focus on the task organizes their movements.

Discovery

We are interested in what athletes discover as they use different training methods and tools.

X SERIES

See it.
Square it.

We are currently developing and testing prototypes of a unique training bat designed to make our approach to athletic development simple, specific, and repeatable. Through continued experimentation, the X Series is taking shape as a new generation of training tools that help athletes discover movement through purposeful tasks rather than prescribed mechanics. Each configuration explores how the athlete, tool, and task interact around a specific ball-flight objective, while we study what movement and result emerges.

DRIVE X

Find the line.

A training tool configuration centered around a line-drive-oriented ball-flight objective.

GAP X

Stay balanced.

A training tool configuration centered around a balanced ball-flight objective.

FLY X

Launch the ball.

A training tool configuration centered around a more aggressive ball-flight objective.

THE LAB

X Series Exploration.

We are testing how changes in the tool, the task, and the training environment influence what emerges. The goal isn't to prescribe one swing. It's to encourage athleticism and fluid movement.

INSIDE THE LAB

Choose how you'd like to participate.

The Lab is more than a place to train. It's a place to learn, contribute, develop, and help shape what comes next.
